What is The Lunchbox?

The Lunchbox is a food delivery company that provides busy families with a creative variety of freshly made, nutritionally balanced, ready-to-enjoy meals for toddlers, kids, teens and adults. In our current climate of homeschooling and working from home, we created The Lunchbox to give parents a break from the daily stresses of food preparation.

The Lunchbox is ready to be your in-school caterer when the time comes for kids to return to campus. Stay tuned!

 

How does the Lunchbox work?

The Lunchbox is a delivery service that offers the convenience of selecting meals for the week. Customers will receive deliveries on Monday (for both Mon and Tue lunches) and on Wednesday (for both Wed and Thurs lunches).

All our meals are made-to-order and delivered straight to your door in an insulated package to maintain freshness. If you’re not home when they arrive, please be sure to refrigerate them as soon as they’re unpacked.

Our Heat & Eat Meals only need a couple minutes in the microwave or oven, and our Cold Lunches are made to be served, well, cold—perfect for any on-the-go situation.

 

How do you get started?

Simply logon to the website and begin selecting meals.  We suggest selecting 2 meals per person per delivery day. A Monday delivery is meant to provide you with lunches for Monday and Tuesday!

 

Who is The Lunchbox for?

The Lunchbox serves up meals for everyone (okay, maybe not our furry friends).  The regular size is for toddlers and kids and the large size is perfectly portioned for teens and their growing appetites. Yep, we even included adult meals because parents need a treat too. 

 

What are the costs?

Kids meals are $12 and Adult meals start at $18, but vary based on protein selection.

 

What is the delivery area?

Our current delivery area is from Malibu to Pasadena and Downtown LA.

0-20 miles: $10 delivery

20-35 miles: $20 delivery

 

What if I’m having my meal delivered to an office/apartment building?

We do not enter any buildings. That means we can leave your order with the lobby attendant or you can meet the driver outside. 

 

What about nut allergies?

We do not use nuts in our food. Contact us for details.

 

What is your food packaging made of?

Our food packaging is eco-friendly and recyclable!

 

How do I customize my lunch?

Sorry, no customizations.

 

How do I pay for my lunch?

Payment information is due at the time of order.

  

When is my order confirmed?

Orders are confirmed once credit card authorization is received.

 

Do you provide any packaging & reheating instructions?

Promptly refrigerate ALL foods upon receiving. We will include general storage and reheating instructions in your email.
